While everyone's skin is different, and there are different types of acne, one thing that is a constant is that acne is an inflammatory condition and inflammation must be addressed in order to manage it.
For those of you who are not ready to commit to an acne clearing support program, this is my favorite 'generalized,' yet targeted acne regimen at the moment.
With the disclaimer that some skin will require more hydration and repair where others will require more inflammation management, some will be able to tolerate more actives and some won’t be able to handle this many steps. This regimen actively targets acne without striping or drying.
It is also important to bear in mind that acne forms under the skin well before we are ever able to see it - roughly 3 months. But you will reduce the number of lesions forming below the skin over time, so you won't be stuck in a recurring acne cycle.
